Rubicon Tires and Wheels

My understanding is that my stock sport JK 2012 has 29 in. dia. tires. If I swap out and put the Rubicon wheels and tores I will gain three inches of lift ..the Rubicons are 32 in dia. I am not going to do heavy off roading just soe exporing on the back woods trails. If I put these tires and some underside armour and the discos for the sway bars I shsould be able to have some decent fun?

You might get about 1.5" of ground clearance.
And you'll always have fun in a jeep.

You will only gain 1.5 inches. The tires are round. You only need the disconnects if you are doing a lot of off camber stuff or rock climbiing. Armor up and you'll be fine. Start with rock rails, front skid, and oil pan skid. Maybe diiferential covers as well.

I started out with Rubicon Tires and Wheels as an upgrade from sport tires and wheels. That's a great upgrade and I would recommend that to anyone first starting out. With your sway bar links I would start with a set of wrenches and manually disconnect everytime you go off road. Get used to airing down and disconnecting and eventually you'll figure out what you want to do with your Jeep. Manually disconnecting sway bar links 40 times by yourself will definitely make and award the purchase of disconnects.
