Rugged Ridge All Terrain Modular Bumper

I haven't seen anyone mention this bumper except one or two venders on here. I just installed mine this past weekend and I'm very happy with the quality of it. This is only my second mod and the first mod I've done myself. After looking for a bumper since I got my JK in December, this one was the best looking one to me. I'm sure the install is similar to the RR XHD. I'm waiting for the RR winch plate, a Superwinch LP10000 and some shackles for the front to come in. I ordered the hoop and end caps as you can see in the picture. Everything fit together very well and feels extremely sturdy. I've even sat on the hoop and I was surprised at how strong it is. The end caps were a little bit difficult to get the screws in but that was the only hard part. Here are some picture of it.

I have been looking at this bumper. After 10 month do you still like it?

On the web site it states it's comes black powder-coated but your does not look powder-coated?

Do you have any pictures with the caps and hoop?

I've recently started looking at this one too. Interested to see if it's held up to any abuse...

I have the older version which is not the aluminum one. But I can say it has held up nicely. It took a deer at 50mph and not a scratch on it or the jeep.

I have a friend rolling a Rubi outfitted with this bumper. It's held up really well, scored one deer kill and he loves it. If it didn't require a vacuum pump relocate for 2012+ this may have been my front bumper choice, adding the full-width ends to it. Very nice bumper.

Sorry I didn't notice this until now. I still love the bumper. I have added a winch and the bumper has held up very well! I haven't scraped it on anything yet but my D rings kept clinking on it while driving but I have yet to notice any of the powder coat come off or scratch. The only part that has is inside the loops that holds the D ringsbut it hasn't warn much and the shackles have been in for 9 months or so.

im looking to get this bumper as well. The question i have is - how hard is it to pull the winch in and out of it if needed? I want to be able to bolt it in when im on the trails and pull it off when im not due to the additional weight and gas.
Also, did you add the skid plate too? if so, how difficult was that to install?
any feed back is greatly appreciated!!!

Removing and installing the winch might be a little bit of a hassle every time of you of road a lot. The four bolts holding the winch aren't too bad to get at. They are seen just between the fog lights. Also, you would have to remove the fairlead and install a quick disconnect for the electrical. I would say 20-40 minutes to install the winch if you had a good set up. You may run into unforseen problems, but I'm not sure since I've only installed it once. Regarding the skid plate, it is just whatever is under the plastic air dam from the factory. It does look close to the Rugged Ridge one but I think that one probably covers more area.

I have a version of this bumper. I have found Rugged Ridge's naming scheme to be kind of off because when I ordered this I could have sworn this was the XHD aluminum bumper whereas now it is called the All Terrain Modular bumper. Also it appears there are two versions, the one you have pictured and the one I have pictured below with the grill.

I do love this bumper. It is lightweight and looks great. I only have one picture handy from when I first installed in last summer. I have since added the bumper pods/ends on the side and a Superwinch TS9500. I got with with the winchplate from Amazon for just under $600.
