Rugged Ridge Hood Latches - Durability?

Anybody been running these for a while now? Just wonder how they are holding up appearance-wise, especially those of you in snow or coastal states.

I'm seriously considering getting some, but live in Minnesota, Land of Winter Road Salt. Just wondering how the finish looks after some accelerated aging.....

They've been on the market for less than a year, so you probably aren't going to find a definitive answer yet on their long-term durability. Mine still look like new but the only salt they encounter is from the ocean.

have had a pair on for about 3 months holding up fine...
but seriously they are PC aluminum and stainless steel construction they should hold up fine
i compared the RR vs the competing drake hold downs and the RR versions looked more corrosion resistant FWIW

I've been running mine for about 8 months and 25,000 miles, several snow storms, the rainy season and now a heat wave and they look like they just came out of the box.

Durability in a coastal area is key....

They do spend quite a bit of time on the Florida beaches and are holding up fine so far. Also very sturdy and no hood flutter whatsoever since they were installed about 6 months ago.
