Actually, my Metalcrafters grill insert is black chrome over stainless. Much better than powder coat (in my opinion). And, it fits perfect and looks fantastic on my black 10A. You get what you pay for. Since this is my opinion and you all got it for free......take it for what it's worth.

I was thinking about getting the Metalcrafters, but from some other posts it looks like it requires some drilling and relocating a temp sensor? How is the install? The Drake looked nice, but I am concerned with it blocking the air flow some.

They only make chrome plated stainless steel and black powder coated stainless steel. But, it's good that you have one. No complaints with mine. Look perfect after 3 1/2 years.

My RR mesh grill insert was junk. I cut it up in 3 sections 3x1x3 and plasti dipped it. It fits better and has a matte finish which imho looks better than the shiny black powder coat.

If metalcrafters had the hood lock hole, I would buy it in a second and replace the RR version.

It's an easy install. Refer to :http://www.quadratec.com/Assets/Installation/85274.pdf It doesn't block air flow.
