Rugged Ridge XHD bumper an ZEON winch

Anyone have any good pictures or diagrams to use to modify the Rugged Ridge XHD bumper to fit the WARN ZEON 10-S winch?

I'm not at all familiar with that bumper but I can tell u that with a recessed winch mount you will have issues with the jeeps frame rails...the zeon does not fit. You will need to cut and grind a good amount off the inside upper corners to fit the zeon. If I remember tomorrow I can take a pic of what I cut off.

Lots of cutting, but turned out nice.

Def a lot of cutting on the Rugged Ridge XHD and the frame rails, but worked out in the end. only had to cut the right side of the frame rail with some some playing around got it in.. hehe

I think that the Zeon is the best looking winch on the market! I would get the front cover too if you are rockin' a steel line.

@JKFlex - thanks, well worth all the labor in cutting. @redbilly - I am going to get a cover even though it is synthetic rope. This is the 10-S, I just have to find one that will fit it properly due to the customizations on the bumper. I may have to get some neoprene and have my wife break out her sewing skills. :-P

Next is a 2.5" - 3" lift. :-D

Care to give any insight as to how much cutting you had to do? I see you haven't posted in quite some time but I'm hoping you get the email and will respond. I want this winch but I'm not sure if I want to cut the frame rails to get it.

Sorry Tyler I seem to be following the same path you did... Can anyone show pics of the area to cut? also I am guessing you had to use spacers to get the winch out and away from the grill? I did this all backwards, I just thought it would fit so I bought the winch.. and well... here I am.. any help would be really cool.. I am going to cut it up tomorrow...

Guessing you only cut the back edge? did you cut the whole length or just the center so you could drop the winch in... and do the mounting holes line up?
