Well you need to decide how you want to turn them on. If you want to use the OE switch, you can buy the complete kit, install it, but then you need to have the dealer flash the computer to reognize the lights.

If you want to install a set and go off your own switch, the you just need the lights, and fab up a harness, including a relay and switch.

They are held in by tiny nuts supplied with the bumper.

Now if only i could get cruise control and AC........

Its a pretty sweet bumper. Been getting really sick of looking at the stock one and theres not a whole lot of aftermarket bumpers that are really my style....and im not about to pay for a mopar bumper either...

I think threading those tiny nuts was the hardest part of the install, lol. I couldn't get one threaded no matter what and finally gave up, so one fog light is held on by 3 nuts instead of 4. I cursed those nuts more than once.

I have a Q-tec winch also. One tip, install it on the bumper first before installing the bumper. I added it later and ended up taking the bumper off because I couldn't reach 2 of the bolts attaching the winch to the bumper with a torque wrench.

Found the cruise control kit. If i gotta take the steering wheel off i might as well put a cruise control lever in there too........

Dang jeep draining my wallet again.

Thanks for the tip.....I was wondering about that. Thats gonna be awfully heavy with the winch on it though!

I'm in almost the exact same situation; I don't have factory fog lights and just got the Rugged Ridge XHD bumper. Michiganadam, did you end up buying the OEM fogs or something else to install in the bumper? The OEM parts seem kind of expensive, and I was wondering if there's something less expensive to drop in there.

Yep, it's heavy but I managed by myself propping one side on jack stands while I lined up the bolts on the other side. Definitely would have been easier with a second set of hands.

Nothing yet! Still waiting on the bumper and winch to ship. But they shipped the hoop! LOL. I think the OEM parts are a great deal though, since you just plug it in...otherwise you're going to be making a wiring harness, drilling holes in your jeep, and they wont automatically turn off when you put your high beams on...which is technically illegal. Not that i care.

Ouch. So were the leads long enough? did you run them through the grill? Got any pictures?

I ran the wiring under the grill. It's tight but they were just long enough to reach the battery. I have the older style Q11000 with the solenoid on the side so that might make a difference. I'm on my phone but I can post a couple pics when I get home.

I ordered the factory fog kit and also cruise control kit from jeeps are us, by the way. Especially since my turn signal lever doesnt quite like to stay turned anyway. I wonder what the dealer would charge to pop the stalks in the steering column....

Here's my RR XHD bumper and Quadratec winch. I like the look of the newer version with the integrated solenoid but it wasn't out yet when I bought mine.

The bumper has been on for more than 2 years. Other than needing a couple of touch-ups where I hit some rocks, it's held up great.

Ok i put the bumper and winch on. Ill post pics tomorrow. But......it was missing the nuts for the fog lights. Infact, it came with sheet metal screws and said to use them. But it clearly needs nuts. Any idea what size they are?

Also, i put it on without the fogs because of this. Now it kinda looks like i have to take the bumper off to put em back on. What? Do you have to take the bumper off to change the bulbs?
