Bumping this up as I'll be installing my GenRight rear bumper and LEDs in a few days.

I'll be tapping into the reverse lights to trigger the LEDs but I'd also like to use a relay and put the LEDs on a switch (eventually an sPod) in the cabin. Any tips on how to achieve this?

Has anyone tried the SPOD with the aeroforce gauge? The aeroforce gage has an option for a relay output and one of the parameters that can be monitored is "Gear Actual". This would allow the relay output to switch rear LEDs when in reverse. You could wire the aeroforce relay in series with a SPOD relay if you wanted an SPOD switch to arm or de-arm the rear LEDs. Has anyone tried this?

When my ace pro rear bumper comes in, I will be installing the 2 ridgid 6in sr lights to the spod. I will just be using the light bars on the switch only. My install should be pretty straight forward. I don't know jack about tapping into the reverse lighting.

Checkout post #164. Not quite a complete explanation, but the guy did something similar. If someone gets the details could they post it here. I'll be doing this someday.
