Well I just finished mounting and running the wires for my new rigid dually lights but ran out of daylight. I just need a little help on where to run the wire for the switch. I've heard to run it through the fire wall if so can anyone point me in the direction on where the best place to run it through is? Pictures would be very helpful. Thank you in advance. Also if anyone has installed these did the plug wires coming from the light housing have a little slack in em or were they pretty tight. Thanx again.

I ran my wires under the cowl to the drivers side then zip tied them back along the firewall to the battery. There is a hole in the driver side firewall covered with foam tape. I used a coat hanger and pushed my dually switch wires through then ran them along the dash frame and mounted my switch to the left of the steering wheel. I'll try to take photos, bit I gotta figure out how to post them.

Cool man thanks a lot I'll look for that spot in the morning. If you do get a pic I wouldn't mind checking it out either. Take care!

Run them under the hood next to the firewall. It's drier under the hood.

That foam hole is where you want to run your wires thru. Just jam a coat hanger thru the foam, then tape the wires to the coat hander and it will go straight thru.

That hole is accessed the the side panel of the dash. I ended up running my KC switch right over the speaker below the steering wheel on the left.

Where have people been placing their switch? I'm installing mine in a few weeks, just brainstorming for now. Thanks.

I went with the daystar switch panel under the AC controls. The fit and finish is not great. The panel does not fit well. Thinking of going to rugged ridge a pillar mount.

I purchased the A-Pillar switch pod. Bought the Rugged Ridge Switch Pod and Daystar Switch. Looks and works great.

I just put a switch in to the A-Pillar Trim.
Pulled it off and drilled a hole with a step drill, snapped the switch in.
Ran the wires through the Rubber Plug on the firewall just above where the clutch linkage comes through.

I wound rounding my switch through that hole underneath the cowel cover and putting it next to the steering wheel. And here's the final product. I'm very happy with it and they are def super bright.

Thanx man, I used LEDS for my fogs off of eBay they were like $35. They plug right into the factory plug. And no flicker 6000k color to match my Hids in my headlights.

I have added these lights to "my cart" like 5 times, and then hesitated...anyone have any pics of how much added light these guys put out? Like a highway pic or something, I need that little nudge to get me to go through with getting these, but if its not a significant addition of lumens, i can't justify the $200 to get em. Any pics? thanks!!

Get em they are awesome!!! You'll love em. Gives the jeep a cool look. They are super bright. U won't be able to use them on the street because they are too bright but for dark roads the work great. I'll try to post some pics when I get home from work tonight.

I got the Black Box Logistics RX2
These are right after I install them and aimed them on the garage door.
Obviously I need to raise them and point them a bit wider. Also I have them mounted on the Outboard side of the Jeep in front of the mirrors. (as shown above) They are Rotated 90 degrees and I'm thinking the light spread is affected by this position. Once the mounts come in they'll move to the Windshield frame.
Definately not as far reaching as the Daylighters on my old TJ.
Sorry for the Crappy Blackberry pictures! (company phone)
