Running Water mod

hey guys i built a pressurized water system like some other jeep owners and so i built a kit put it together and posted it on ebay i was curious what you guys think im not posting it here for advertisement but i was curious as to how you guys like it. unlike other systems it doesnt require you to make a pickup it simply taps into the bumper. your input would be awesome. I feel like anything like this to finance new accessories for my jeep would be awesome. i just got it its an 08 wrangler jk. there are pictures of it on the link.
thanks guys

The valve looks pretty vulnerable where it is located.

I agree with the valve location. I love the idea of running water, in fact I've been planning on doing this conversion for awhile but I would want more pressure. Not having to deal with a toggle switch is a plus as well. Good luck selling your kit. Even though there is info out there many people would rather buy everything together from one source and if you include good directions you may do well.

thanks guys i appreciate it. I love affordable mods as much as the next person and once you get into higher pressure systems along with auto pressure switch pumps that turn on once you open your valve the price dramatically increases however you can get a really nice pump for less than 100 dollars that would definitely do the trick. however that doesnt include all other hardware but hey whats a couple hundred dollars on peoples pride and joy vehicles that typically cost well over 20k

I like the idea.
I'd like it better if it dispensed shaved ice.
Mmmmmm sno-cones!

I think its a good idea, but from the pictures I couldn't tell how it works, etc.. and what you need to install it , etc.. Also , what exactly are all the parts you are getting,etc..

Do you have this kind of information ?

yes i do however i would like to distribute a higher pressure kit something capable of running a water hose with an automatic pressure sensing pump. i plan on taking pictures of different valve locations...i can only imagine if i get rear ended how much the people behind me would freak out when water shoots all over the place

That would make the mod worth it right there!

I would add something into the listing stating that the water is not intended to be potable. I say that because if the plastic releases any kind of toxins (esp on a hot day) and someone were to drink it and get sick.. or hell, have a doctor say that the dioxin released from the bumper caused an illness... its your responsibility. Coming from a family with several practicing lawerys.. best to be safe than sorry.

There I fixed that for you.

Didn't you post this up on another JK forum awhile back and get chased out of the village by a pitchfork wielding mob?
I remember seeing the exact same pictures posted in that thread that you are using in your eBay listing. It seemed like you got a lot of feedback about what people thought about your kit in that thread and you don't appear to have changed anything. Soooooo, if not to advertise your product, I'm just curious what you were hoping to get out of reposting it here?

I'm not shitting on your idea, of making a kit based on someone else's idea but lets be honest about what the purpose of this thread is and not pretend the members of this forum are stupid.
