rust proofing,paint sealing, etc

I just heard from the dealer and my wrangler has been built and is going to ship out this week. I am about ready to freak out....So I have a few questions for the panel about the things that the dealer tries to sell you as the environmental package. they are as follows:

Rust proofing the under carriage.

sealing the factory paint

spray on protectant for the seats

is this stuff snake oil and just a way for the dealers to make better margins? I live in mn so rust is a concern. wouldnt the factory paint already be sealed? does the coating of the under carriage acctually work or does it just make it hard to work on later? Any input would be great..

Skip all three, wax it yourself, clean the undercarriage and occasionally clean the seats. Just don't use any scotchguard on them as they have already been scotchguarded from the factory.

scotchguarded at the factory

That is great info, I would have suggested that you get the seats protected before reading that. Good to know, thanks.

I got a white sport with the "s" package
Black group ( steps, tailight guards, gas cap)
locking rear dif
mopar off road bumper
warn winch xd9000i
mopar rear off road bumper
mopar winter wheels (as extras)
tow package, additional air bag, dual tops, stock stereo
no nav I like maps plus my phone has it.

I originally was going to get the Sahara but i got nervous about the colored top and didnt want the extra bells and whistles and the 18" wheels. so I rolled the cost of the difference into new bumpers, winch and wheels etc.
