Sad day for me

So last night someone broke into my jeep. I have an 09 Sahara. But get this.. They stole loose change, that was in my center console tray, and they stole my owners manual and canvas case from they glove box. ( I know they were not locked......

They got in through the soft top... unzipped and crawled in.. BALLsY..

what they didn't get was all my goodies that were under the tray...!! GPS, CELL PHONE, WALLET. hahahahah

Anyway... I'm really missing the canvas case now, as it was holding my hard top screws, so they are all lost now too.

I am going to order a new set of those. Does anyone know where i can get a replacement canvas jeep case for a new manual.!!

Sorry to hear about the theft. Good thing is they didn't cut the top or do any damage. Probably could get a new canvas case from the glove box at a dealer LOL. (Kidding)

Sorry to hear that. At least the a%^h%6e's didn't slice your top. You should be able to pick one up at the stealership

That sucks. And my wife wonders why I ordered the Tuffy Trunk and Underseat Security decks. Thieves suck!

this is one of the reasons why I didn't get a soft top. Sorry to hear that. Why were all your valuables out in your Jeep? Mistake?

Do what I do. Leave your doors unlocked. However, keep your center console, glove box, and trunk, locked. I'd rather someone crawl in through my doors than potentially cut the top open. Anything I leave loose, I deserve to have stolen.

Glad nothing too valuable got stolen, but there are very few things that make me more angry than people who steal what other people have worked hard for.

Theres a crazy guy who works at walmart he leaves so much stuff in his jeep, I asked him and no one ever steals anything ! course I dont think the average thief would be interested in jumper cables and spare dana 35 shafts . honestly I get nervous when I pop into the gas station with my radio faceplate still in the jeep .

Look at it this way, the moron climbed through a vehicle window trying to be quiet, all just to get some loose change and an auto manual, while leaving all the valuables right under his nose??

You were lucky that a costly mistake on your part actually cost you very little. Ive had my wallet stolen before and it is a bitch to remedy when they've already started using your cards!

Maybe he just bought a Jeep and needed the spare change for gas and the other stuff was missing from the one he bought, which is why he took the time to unzip the top instead of slashing it like Michael Myers at a slumber party!

Owners manual and the canvas case?

Did you get robbed by Forrest Gump?

The real "silver lining" in this story is that at least you aren't as dumb as THAT GUY!

Dude, Hard Top, Soft Top, if they want in, they are getting in. I leave mine unlocked. I figure that nothing inside is as expensive to replace as the window/top. Couple of weeks ago came out of the movies, had left the top down and get this..... the keys in the ignition. Noone bothered it.
