Not everyone likes it. The ones that do are a vocal minority.

I call BS. You got data to back that up....?

We know you don't like Sahara tan, and that's fine, but how do you know the majority don't like it? There is a difference between not lking it and not buying it. Hey, I like red rock or deep cherry red, especially with black top & fenders, just didn't buy it.

I have a 2011 Sahara with stock 18" and would rather have 15 or 16s. I could be talked into a trade.

I think the color is alright. Wouldn't buy it. The Saharas JKU's with matching tops and fenders don't even look like a Jeep. Looks like any SUV you see.

Now if they actually made it a Military tan, then that would be a Jeep to buy. Hopefully the next time they make a tan it will be a more military in tone, The Sahara tan is Just too bright for lack of a better word

I like it and would buy it. If I were looking for a new Jeep, it would be on the list of acceptable colors.

It was the #1 color on my list....especially the JKU's with painted tops and fenders. I just love that color.

There are two Sahara Tan Sahara JKU's near me, but are near option-less.

My dealer called before Christmas with a phenomenal deal to trade my 08 rescue green JKU for a new one. I think I ruined his day when I told him the only way I would do it was for a tan JKU rubi, unless they were going to be offering rescue green again. Very happy with my current color, I like having a different look.

Did I say I was speaking for "everyone"? Since I am someone and I don't like it, then obviously not EVERYONE likes it. At first I thought it looked ok, until I saw it in person. It's not tan at all. It's a washed out cream.

Bought three JKURs in 2011. The first one was silver, the next was cosmos, our current one is White. Would have bought tan in a heartbeat if it was available! Tan with black contrast looks awesome, but so does silver, cosmos, and of course white! Hell what do I know it took three tries to get the right Jeep!

I suppose there are trendy vs classic colors but color preferance is subjective like taste. Lucked into a Sahara Tan on the lot; the wife loves the color and that is all that matters.

I've blacked out everything down to the antenna and grill emblem. Only thing left not black on the exterior of my Sahara tan 2012 is the stock wheels. I'm researching/planning just which black alloy wheel and tire combo will be best for my needs. Then it'll be all black and tan.

Right now, it's probably 15" rims from the ProComp 8170 series (black, of course) and 33"s. Either Duratrac 33x12.5x15, or BFG MT KM2 in 33x10.5x15.

I think the same, I loved Sahara tan in pictures, still do, but when I went to buy one it looked like a washed out cream, really disappointed , my wife thought the same so then was black or natural green pearl and got the black
