Talking Sarge just got new boots - Part Deux - The 2.5" lift installed!

My Sarge just got back from the quartermaster and was issued some new combat boots.
(Goodyear 315/75R16 Duratrac tires on 16-inch ProComp 7069 wheels.)

Edit: I added a lift on 11/21, pics on page 2

I hadn't noticed. It may be because I don't have the door surrounds on and you can notice the roll bar more because it extends behind the rear seats maybe?

Ah that's what's missing... The door surrounds! I was looking and was like whats different with the back door and seats area lol then it clicked.

I really like your Jeep its done just right!

I really wish Jeep had kept this color around. That, to me, is Commando. Shame.

Great looking Jeep!

I think it needs "Tire Pressure" stencils over the tires...

Looks good from here ! "BH"

That's a good idea.
Actually I do have the TP markings but they are just inside the wheel well. I'm shooting for a circa 1941 look, and that's how they did it then.

Unfortunately only on the pavement. The duratracs are a real improvement over the ProComps on the road.

Some local guys are going out this weekend, I can't make the run but maybe I'll take it out for something short on my own to see how they do off road (probably nothing major until November)

Ya, I think a little, I nrver noticed it with my 33's. I bought the Jeep used and it was already lifted. I haven't been able to figure what the OP did (looks like bits and pieces and on the cheap) and I've already had to fix a couple of things damaged by the poor lift. I think I'll buy a 3" kit and replace everything.

Thanks for rubbing salt in the wound btw.
