My passenger side seat belt buckle is no good. Looking at it, it seems I have to take the seat out to replace it. Any info on removing the seat and/or a replacement buckle clip would be much appreciative
I've had my seat off once to install an amp, but don't remember specifically the seat belt. It seems like there was one bolt holding the seatbelt receiver to the seat.
Removal of the seat is simple. Four bolts on the seat brackets at the floor. There is a wire connector for the wiring to the seat belt. Not sure how to reconnect the wires unless the new seat belt has a pig tail and is plug in play.
Think you will be sorry if you don't reconnect the wire. endless dinging telling you to buckle up every time you have a passenger .
If one happens to live in Kansas, the seat belts are covered under the warranty for 10 years by law. Elsewhere, I would still check with a dealer to see if they would be willing to cover them.
