seat belts

Has anyone had any problems of seatbelts not catching? I would think with the drives we take them on, holding us in is very important. However, I was rear ended last week and mine failed to hold me back. Seems unusual and I'm having mine checked when I take her in for estimate.

Hold you back from what????? When you get hit from the rear, there is no "hold you back".....you go back into the seat.

Were you injured as a result of impacting something???

Actually, my upper body bent forward while my neck folded back. Simple physics of motion.
