Seat brackets

I have a 07 2door. Has anyone heard of a seat bracket that will lift the seat up and forward to make getting in the back a bit easier? I've searched and can't seem to find anything.

Thanks.

I don't know of anyone that does. I'm sure if you really wanted one, you could get a local body shop to put something together- Mark W.

I wouldn't hold my breath. Honestly, a custom fabbed setup is likely going to be the only thing you'll see.
Granted, now that I've said that, three kits may pop up tomorrow...
Or not Mark W.

Seems like there is a market for it.
It's high on my wish-list.
Not sure what people's pain threshold is (how many $$ they'd part with to get it)
Sucks but there are probably liability concerns about what would the aftermarket seat bracket do in a crash.

But when buying aftermarket parts, you will always find liability BS- a statement on the instructions saying that the company that made it is not liable for death, injury, anal bleeding, etc., so they cover their butts- it's your choice to use it as you will- Mark W.

Yah, those statements always crack me up. I just went canoeing. I had to sign a release statement before I could participate. They had my 14 year old son sign it too (what was that about? cause he can't legally sign for himself.) I always sign those statements knowing full well that, in most states (probably all of them) you can't legally sign away your rights in negligence cases and you can't sign away the rights of your heirs. It works well as a feel good clause for the companies (clubs) that issue them. No legal effect in most cases.

Well, they'll cover the company if you are the one who screws up (keep all hands and feet inside the vehicle while in motion, etc.), but if the roller coaster craps out and you go squish, yeah, they're on their own Mark W.
