Will post reviews as soon as I get around to installing.
Just installed my trek armors this weekend. Awesome. Search for YouTube install video. It will help!

This video has a couple of hints; especially since they didn't come with any instructions. Especially tying string on the loops to pull though.

Wet Okole's on the way.
Does anybody use the UV protectant? Do I need it?

It would not hurt. I even used 303 fabric protector on my Trek Armors that carry a 3 year warranty against fading. Cheap insurance for expensive seat covers.

Just ordered my Trek Armor seat covers today. Can't wait to receive them but will probably be about a month. Just watched Brian's install video on You Tube and that is a tremendous help, thank you.

I just installed caltrend digital camo seat covers, ordered them from autoanything.com. I was very impressed with the fit, everything was snug but not too difficult to put on. Took me probably 40 min for the install of both front and back. I like the material, its close to a canvus feel to it with a little foam backing, I realized that I didn't need waterproof since I don't really take the top off too much. I was worried about sweat on long rides with the neoprene, so for me these covers really fit the bill. I wanted protection from dirt and grime but was not too worried about waterproofing. The material feels good and seems like it will be very durable. In addition they were reasonably priced (compared to many others) and I think they look really good and wake up the interior a lot. Overall I am very impressed with the product so far, as always only time will tell how they hold up but so far I have no worries.

Did anyone ever find a seat cover that can be used over seats with side airbags? I know someone posted a while back that Trek Armor was supposedly testing it but Trek's website still says they can't guarantee the side airbags will work with their seat covers.

Wet Okole
They fit great they are custom made to the seat, manny colors and combinations. I've had them on several prior cars do a great job of protecting the seat, when I sell the car and take the covers off the seats look like new. They are made of neoprene (wetsuit material) so getting them wet is not a problem. The down side is they tend to get hot in that they don't breath.

They do have options for side airbags, I don't know if they are DOT approved. Go to there website they discuss side airbags.

Vote for Trek Armors

I called Mitch at Trek Armor and he sent me the samples; super awesome guy, btw. I chose the graphite with digital camo insert. I think they look fantastic, couldn't be happier. Definitely worth the money for quality this good.

My Trek Armors will hopefully be on the way soon! (were supposed to ship out Tuesday, but still waiting for that to happen ...) Mitch is awesome to deal with though! From the samples I could tell it is a quality product!

Great thread. I am jealous of all you guys with the Trek Armors and Wet Okoles- I just don't have the spare cash for covers like that but they both look like the absolute best options available. I'm about to pull the trigger on some cheap coverkings at QTec and take advantage of their free rear seat deal. But I will always covet your covers!

For those of you who've had the Trek's on for a while now...How's that front zipper in regards to your leg hitting it? I'm just about ready to pull the trigger but I'm worried about the irritation from that zipper pull since I tend to curl my left leg up against the seat on long drives.

I really wish they had a deeper blue or another grey color to use as an insert with the graphite. Black will do, but a color that better went with my idea of how I want my color scheme to end up would be the final nudge I need to pony up the cash.

no issues with the zipper or with "anything i put in the pouch" as for color, you can always have the stitching done in Gray or Blue makes a nice accent

Agreed, I have billet and I think blue would look good with it, but the Trek blue is a bit too bright

Has anyone ordered the optional lumbar pads with their Trek Armor covers? Are they worth it?

I received my Trek Armor seat covers this week. I installed them today. I'm really happy with the fit, feel, and quality! Installation was easier than I expected. The YouTube videos helped.

I may have overlooked it somewhere in the 12 pages of this thread, but does anyone know how well of a match the Trek Armor "olive" color is to the Commando Green?

I'm ready to buy and am not sure of my color selection.

*edit* I think I see that Brianczaw has olive inserts and it looks like his Jeep is Commando. Looks like a reasonably close match.

Brianczaw, how does it look in person?

You can call Mitch Walker at Trek Armor, and he will send you out the color swatches for you to compare. Great customer service!
