Ordered the black and graphite for my 12 dozer.

Hoping the graphite matches the interior trim . . .

I run these, I also have the tailgate cover. Thinking about the rollbar centerpiece in the future. They rock for keeping all my bug out stuff organized.

Assuming that you have the gray interior, the graphite is a charcoal gray and matches the interior trim pretty well. The stock seats are a lighter gray.

those look sweet! The piping is awesome.

I've been debating on getting the wet okoles for a little while along with teh heated seats option.

Anyone have a review on the heated seats?

also any suggestions on a color combo for a white JKU with the black/graphite trim inside? I was thinking black with black inserts and then maybe a white or graphite piping.

I just took off the rugged ridge front covers. I found them a little to insulating. Any one want them? message me with an offer.

I'm going back and forth on the Wet Okoles whether to do the full piping or the contrasting inset color. The contrast inset looks killer like on Guppy's Crush but with a Gecko....that's a lotta green!

Installed my Birthday Present today- love the colors and the look - not crazy about the way they fit at the bottom of the seats -
They were a pain in my #%* to install -
Between the heat and Mosquitos and no room to work hard to feed the side straps under the seats-
But over all I LOVE THEM!!!

Call Mitch at trek armor. They have a nice orange stitching that goes great with Dozer. Check out my build thread #1 below there are pictures of the seats on it

It looks like they are exclusive for the TJs and JKs, sorry

It doesn't look like they even make them for any other vehicle at all.

It looks like Wet Okole does though.

Trek Amor and Wet Okole both offer similar heated inserts for their seats. The Trek Armor ones are wired and designed to work with a factory dash switch (not included, but they give you the part number). The Wet Okole's work with a supplied cigarette lighter adapter for each seat. So, if you had both seats in use, you couldn't have any other devices plugged in.

eww, I'm not thrilled with the wet okole option at all. Might have to start looking at alternatives, or the trek armor covers

This thread is great. I parked my jeep near a tree for an hour a few days ago with the top down and only a spiderweb shade on it. And the freakin' birds shat on it. I've been out there scrubbing the seats but this did not help the look of my 10 year old factory seats. sigh. I guess I'll be in the market for some seat covers too.

Damn, that's definitely a deal breaker... I'd like some non-swamp-butt seat covers with the center section color matched to Dozer (yellow/orange) and the sides black. Any ideas on a manufacturer?

I'm not sure if there is a "non swamp butt" seat cover, just ones that give you varying degrees of swamp butt.

IMHO, the Trek Armor give less than the neoprene ones.

So what happens to the wet okoles if you let it rain on them? Is it going to wreck leather seats or does the wet suit material keep the water out?

Trek Armors just arrived.... will start the install tomorrow. But must say, the craftsmanship of these covers is incredible. Way to go Mitch and team. These were definitely worth the wait.

Trek Armor - black w/ red trim
  • The fabric is canvas type. Appears very durable. Molle strapping plus front/rear pockets on front seat covers.
  • Superior fit - had to watch a few YouTube videos for some hints on how to install.
  • Mine are about a month old - too soon to tell
  • $260 for front/ $260 for rear through Morris 4X4.

Wet Okoles--Full Red Piping (on a 2013 RL Unlimited)

These are cell phone pics...but you get the general idea. NOTE to RL owners, Wet Okole's Red is NOT as bright as RL (what is?), my wife and I thought that getting the red insert would not be a good match to the exterior, so we opted for the full piping and it blends nicely. This is my 3 rd set of Wet Okoles, I think they are excellent!

I have the Trek Armors for my 2012 2 door. I opted for just the front seats because I took the back seat out the day I got the Jeep and it hasn't been in since.

First impression was how great they were made, seemed very durable. Putting them on sucked a bit because it was so tight, but thats a good thing I guess, after you get em on you forget they are even there because of how well they fit.

The reason I went with these was because of how everyone said they were waterproof and I liked that for when I got caught in the rain. After having them for a few months now, I can say, they're not waterproof. They will repel some liquid, like if you spill a drink on them and you can wipe it off. But if its raining, or even just a light drizzle, the covers will absorb the water, and they take FOREVER to dry. You'll have to take them off and hang them up to dry for at least a few hours, depending on how wet they were.
I even use a shop vac to try and suck up some water out of them, doesn't do too much though.

I've noticed that dirt and dust will collect on the seats too and can be difficult to get off.
I knew that there weren't going to be 100% waterproof if caught in a downpour, but I expected them to not retain so much water and take a long time to dry after getting wet.

Overall, I'm happy with them, they do look great, and have nice storage options if need be.
I can tell Mitch put a lot of thought and hard work into these, they're well made and fit amazingly.
I'm glad I have them now, but if I could go back, I'd probably not get them right away. I'd rather just let the stock seats take a beating and not have to deal with the hassle of taking these on and off to clean and dry, then once the stock seats were trashed, buy these covers.

I do blame myself for believing everyone saying waterproof, as opposed to water repellent.

If considering these covers, I think if you can afford them and you like the looks, and don't think they'll take on as much water as mine do.. then definitely get them. It'd be difficult to find a better cover.
