thinking about ordering the Wet Okole. Does anyone know if the "School Bus Yellow" would match the Dozer?

smittybuiltseat covers 100 a piece and the tailgate cover free from quadratech. Stitching well done, durable material so far.

I had one of those smittybilt covers and I just didn't like it. You can't get a snug fit and the thing slides around. Maybe it's just me but I think it looked really sloppy.

Just picked up Trek Armor in black/black. Unfortunately, snow storm in Colorado today means I won't be installing them until tomorrow at the earliest!

Holster is great! Part the reason I went with Trek Armor- so I could holster my Walther behind the passenger seat.

I guess this is a good place for my first post--Yes, the School Bus Yellow is about a 90 percent match. I'm VERY happy with them. I also ordered some Dozer aerosol paint and did the trim pieces from the passenger grab bar and both the door grabs. Looks excellent (IMHO)

Only took me about 10 minutes to clean. These seats clean very easily!!! I just used the brush first to wipe off the hair and dried dirt, then i used a wet rag to get rid of any leftover, waited a few minutes, then i used the brush again to get rid of the lint from the wet rag.

easy as pie!!

trek armor rocks!!
Excellent to know! I have a golden who loves to shed...thats a good enough reason for me to buy right there.

rebeloffroad.com has them for $260 a set, $30 cheaper than anywhere I've seen them. Free shipping too.

For those with trek armor, what do they use for the underside of them? I am getting leather seats and wonder about wear from trek armor seat covers rubbing on the leather. I know the Wet okeoloeaoekalas have foam padding on the bottom, but like the modular capability of the trek armors.

  • Neoprene material is awesome, cleans up really easy, My Golden's fur that sheds wipes off with a wet rag - perfect seat covers for me.
  • These fit very snug - you cannot tell they are seat covers
  • Have no clue, I've had them 3 weeks and have a 2013 jeep.
  • $169.99 for both front and back.
Wet Okole and Coverkings are not the same and its not really close. When you see cross branding you wont see a 300 dollar difference in price usually. Wet Okole cut the patterns upon order and they are not a ready to ship item. They will send you swatches for free too so you can make sure you pick the right shade of color. From a distance people may mix them but thats what Coverking intended. Having had both in my CJ, there is a pretty significant difference in both quality and fit. The coverkings while a nice cheaper alternative, are a more generic ship from shelf version. I also like how the Wet Okole can have the color matched piping that really sets them off. Something coverking doesnt offer.

Kid Seat Tether Anchor Access (Rear of Back Seat)

I'm guessing the answer to this will be no, but figured it would be good to have the answer in the thread for all the JK/JKU owners with wee kids.

Do any of these (Trek Armor, Wet Okole, etc.) still allow EASY access to the child seat tether anchor point - it's towards the bottom of the back of the rear seats.

I'm pretty sure that the LATCH anchors are still easily accessible with most of these products. However, it's the rear anchor (used usually with forward facing kid seats - before they get to boosters) that I'm guessing is covered and either impossible or a royal PITA to utilize.

From the one pic Thruxo posted of his JKU rear seats flat, it looks like Trek Armor does NOT provide easy access to the child seat tether anchor.

Have same Iggees also. Put them on last summer. Holding up great but hard top (panels off when New England weather allows). Paid around 4 clams if I remember correctly. Only thing is, now I am blacking out jeep exterior and have gray on charcoal. May get replacements. Wanna buy some Iggees???

Too bad about the Trek Armor and side air bags. They are worried about liability. Any cover may affect deployment.
I have an email into them asking if they can just leave the deployment area completely
uncovered.

The Wet Okoles website asks about side airbags during the ordering process. So I guess they can accommodate them.

Great thread, I've been looking to get some seat covers for awhile and I had saw bad reviews for the smittybuilt MOLLE seat covers and was looking for a similar alternate. Going to go with the trek armors now.

I posted this elsewhere but am trying it here also. Someone on ebay is selling full leather Katzkin-type seat covers that were made for a 2012 unlimited with side air bags. My 2012 does not have side air bags. Can I use them anyway? I think the only difference is that air bag compliant covers user thread that allows the air bags to deploy.

To my knowledge, you are 100% correct.
