Seat noise !

Hi guys. I am having some problems with both front seats in my 2009 2 door sahara. They are becoming very noisy when i pass a bump and while offroading. It feels like the whole seat is moving! My jeep is still under warranty, took it to the dealer but they said they cant do anything abt it. Any idea why is it happening? What is this ? Thanks

Same problem with my 08 -- dealer had a bulletin on it. Fix is to lube the seat rails with a special tube of grease. I don't remember the name but the dealer did not have it. So, he called a local parts store and got a tube from them. Check with your dealer again.

My 2012 JKU devoloped a creak in the drivers seat at even the smallest bump. Drove me nuts for about 2 weeks as I dont listen to the radio. My local dealer replaced both the seat bottom frame and seat back frame. So far, no more creaking, problem solved.

that's what happens when you have sex on the seats. If your seat feels like it's moving. Check the bolts that hold the seat down. Might be loose. And try a different dealer to see if they will fix it. Some places know the problem but don't wanna fix it under warranty. Help if you show them the problem you are having. Better if you show the technician rather than the adviser so they know WTF you are talking about.
