Seats and seat covers

Are the 2007 model seats the same as a 2010? I found an awesome deal on some covers and i don't want to pass it up. But the seat covers are for a 2007

Pretty sure they are the same design. I think they upgraded the fabric in later years, but the '07's should fit, iirc. Someone smarter will chime in soon probably..

They SHOULD fit. The only difference in seats in the JK's is the covering materials (no more vinyl, '10's have OEM leather).
Also, make sure the rears are for your model- 4-door rear seats are very different from 2-door rears- Mark W.

When I got my 2010 Unlimited about a month ago, the salesman (who also drives a 4dr) Says DO NOT put seat covers on the front seats as they WILL interfere with the side airbags. Anyone know anything about this. I also want seat covers. I have the Unlimited Sport.

Side airbags were an option in '09. I'm not sure if they are standard or not in '10, however there are compatible seat covers available.

^ What he said IF you have side airbags, you need to make sure the covers have cutouts for them. Otherwise, no, you can't run them- Mark W.

Ya they sell seat covers with a Velcro like cut out just large enough for the airbag to come out (hopefully you never have to deal with that though)

One of my sons is in Afghanistan and his wife has a fairly new one, so I may have to put the rearseats back in, we'll have to see-they live in Las Vegas

He was in for 10 years and started with the PREDATOR program (RECON 15) at Nellis AFB, Nv, had two tours in Iraq, with Recon 15

He got out and immediately was called to work by this outfit that took over the PREDATOR, from the AF and NOW trains AF and maintains the Preds in Iraq/Afg and he likes it--(good money), although now he can't carry his M16/M9
