Sell my hard top?

So I've been toying with the idea of selling my hardtop off my 08 JKU. I bought the Bestop trek top NX this past summer and love it. My only question is when the temp gets down in the teens here will I regret selling it? Any thoughts?
Also what's a good "asking" price if I do sell?

It's Memphis. Won't stay cold that long. Sell the top and get some seat heaters.

Your right. I'm leaning toward selling it. Plus it will give me some extra cash for gears.

I live at nearly 8000 feet here in the Rockies and this will be my first winter with a hard top. Had 2 other Jeeps since moving here and both were soft tops and never had any complaints about the cold once the vehicle was warmed up (which didn't take very long at all). That's one thing about Jeeps, they can really crank out some heat. So, I'm guessing it shouldn't be an issue for you in TN.

I had my soft top last winter before I bought a hardtop. At -30 I was fine in a t-shirt in the jeep. The heaters are amazing. You might miss the quietness of a hard top tho. If you can get good money for it you should go for it and put that money into mods

I think a soft top is an on-going investment. Unless you are meticulous in care, they just simply start to look like crap after a while. Start sagging, fading, the windows get that fogged plastic look. I bought a hoist and sold the soft top. You do have to plan your day and can get caught in the weather if not observant, but at the end of the day, the hard top is much quieter, more safe, and keeps its luster if painted. Wax and go.

To each his/her own of course.
