Same here. I have the driver seat relocation kit on my and I am thinking of taking it out now.

He got hit by a semi going 45mph... that's a lot of force. I wouldn't worry about it for standard accidents, honestly. There's a lot more weight behind the vehicle that rear-ended him than the typical accident.

Yes, I was nearly at a crawl, and the semi hit me solid. The seat failure was only on my driver seat rails, and the bracket that holds the seat upright. I am 215lbs with larger upper body proportions, so that was alot of leverage on the seat components during impact. I wouldn't worry about your seat parts failing, since being rear ended by a semi isn't a routine accident.
