my 2008 jku starts to shake at 50 mph. it is not like a out of control shake. i can take my hands off the wheel and watch the steering wheel shake back and forth i can feel it shake my body. i recentley installed a 2 inch rancho sport lift. and added a new steering stabilizer. and new sway bar links. the tires were rotate properly also. anyone have a idea what it is. it starts shaking at exactly 50 i slow down and it goes away.
One wheel out of balance? Throw a weight perhaps? Any mud on the wheels? When I was a Trooper, if I cut a median going after a violator and picked up just a little mud....WOW! CG
^^^Steering wheel shaking back and forth a 50 mph, is a indicator of a bad tire, or a out of balance tire!!!!!!!!! Also make sure that your lug nuts a tight!
