She's ALL MINE now!

OK... so, after NEARLY a year of researching, and anticipation, and 2 1/2 months of waiting from the weekend I ordered her... My 2010 Surf Blue Pearl Rubicon Wrangler Unlimited has FINALLY arrived...

It was a ROUGH first week.... I had only had her 24 hours and my husband noticed fluid leaking on the garage floor.... took it in, and they had it for a day and a half.... it was leaking from the power stearing unit... after a nightmare dealing with the service department on HOW LONG they were going to have it, I finally got it back... and have been having LOTS of fun!!!

Took the front panels of the hard top off and drove around with the dogs... I've barely had a chance to figure everything out... but, learning slowly but surely.... I have to say... after over 10 years of not driving a stick shift, I'm grateful for the hill assist, if for nothing else other than a little confidence...

So, THANK YOU SO MUCH for all your help and advice.... I'm officially now JEEPGIRL17... with my very OWN Rubi!

Good luck with your Rubi. Nice color too. We ordered and picked up our flame red 10 Rubi 2dr. 6spd. 3 weeks ago and love it. I'm on the east coast and it took 2.5 months to be delivered. Every option except leather seats and added a ton of Mopar accessories to include off road front bumper and winch. Took Hilldweller's advice and added Phillips + 80 head lamps and Bosch Evolution 16" wiper blades which turned out to be nice improvements.

@KIK... I did the same... loaded except for leather, and remote start... I am a total newbie, and don't know what mods I want to do. I think the first thing I need is a back up camera and sensor!!! I'm so used to that on my volvo!

Yes, we are lucky here in SoCal! The last few days were GORGEOUS!!! Felt like springtime!!! I can't wait until it IS Spring so I can just go topless all the time. Have to get harnesses for the doggies though!

Take a look at www.safaristraps.com. These are perfect for keeping the dogs in and look great too.

Congratulations! You have a beautiful Jeep. Don't let a few adjustments bother you. Within a few miles, you'll forget all about them. And they won't come up again.

I have two different carseat's for my lil desert dog. She just spent the day with me in the desert and is pooped. Her harness hooks to the car seat and keeps her safe.
Enjoy the Rubicon!

First mod should be a couple of tanks of gas, a few sammiches in a basket, and away-time with your toy and a few friends.

Congrats and enjoy.
