Shipping a JKU Hard top

I'm looking to ship a hard top from Fresno, CA to Seattle, WA.

Any idea on what this might cost and which companies would do this reliably and frugally? I'd like it to be insured as well.

The alternative is driving, but I figure its $400 in gas at least.

Any ideas appreciated. Relatedly - if you're driving from CA to WA anytime and would like to get paid to drive the top up on your JK feel free to PM me.

Try Yellow freight. I shipped an ATV from Nevada to Utah with them a few years ago and I don't remember the exact cost but it was reasonable. For that I had to build a crate accessible by forklift which actually was pretty easy. Not sue if you'd have to do that with a hardtop but they should be able to tell you

Yellow freight or old Damenion it might be about $4-$600 not because of weight but because of size and more than likely you will have to build a crate for it might be cheaper to drive it get buyer to split the gas and put your soft top inside the hard top just in case of bad weather ?

I would do the drive for several reasons....

1) Personal inspection before actually forking over the money

2) Less chance of damage

3) Additional cost of crating

4) Just one more reason to drive the Jeep! (And what an awesome drive that should be!)

Thanks. I'll investigate.

The drive would be awesome. I'm just lacking the spare days to do it - but a $600 charge would be pretty good motivation.

Strange, your trying to sell a hard top in classifieds.. Your Cl ad says you live in Oregon, then you have another ad saying you live in Seattle.. Then each of those ads have different prices for the same item. Here you might have to buy a soft top, because you cant get a hard top from Fresno.. All this while you already have a hard top on your jeep..

Yeah. I'm trying to get the matching top but need to sell my black to fund it. I live in Seattle but am in oregon all the time. The white top I've been looking for just happens to be in Fresno.

Lots of pieces to this puzzle. All bc I want the matching top! Lol
