Shocks squeeking

Ive had my 04 jeep for about 4 years. It has a 3" skyjacker lift with 8000 shocks. The system was put on back in 05 i believe. When i first got the Jeep i was told it was a little squirrelly in the front end. I took a look and found the rubber bushing on both shocks were gone.... no upper or lower and the hole was a bit larger because of it. I put some of the heavy duty ones on and cleared the squirrelly part right up. What ive noticed late is a my front end squeaks when going over uneven pot holes... its driving me nuts. Is it the heavy duty springs or the shocks... how can you tell? get someone to jump on it? Do i just need to take the boots off and grease the shaft? How long should these shocks last? They seem pretty tight when taking them on and off to put the bushings on. If i need to replace them whats a good replacement shock or stay with these? They are 22" long as the jeep sets if that makes a difference.... so there seems to be plenty of travel. Someone said they changed their rear ones every couple of years.... that seems excessive.... and i believe these have a lifetime warranty.
