Question Should I worry my order is incorrect?

Here's the scenario so far:
Oct 1 - visit local dealer, place order for 2012 Unlimited Sahara in Flame Red
Oct 2 - send e-mail changing color to Dozer
Oct 4 - dealer sends configuration preview with all correct, color Dozer
Oct 10 - ordertracking@jeep.com send me 2 e-mails confirming my order
Oct 11 and 13 - I receive e-mails with the subject line "Your new vehicle is scheduled for production," but the message is empty.
Oct 15 - (Today) I contact dealer asking what is up?
Dealer calls back, gives me the VIN, says their info is that it will be delivered around Nov 1.
I enter VIN at VOTS site and what I see is displayed in the attached screenshot. It says the vehicle is an Unlimited Arctic.
I call dealer back; he says their order is correct. He can't explain VOTS info.
I've asked for screenshot of their VOTS info showing Nov 1 delivery. It has not arrived yet.
Should I be worried?

I'm not so worried after all

My dealer e-mailed me his Vehicle Shipment Status and History report dated today. It shows the color as Dozer, Build date Oct 11, and unloading from railcar in Council Bluffs on Nov 1.

I understand the Arctic Special Edition is only for the European market, but they are made in Toledo at the same plant. I wonder if the last 8 numbers of the VIN are the same on mine as on an Arctic Unlimited destined for some dude in Liege? And the first 9 letters/numbers of the VIN are different?

BTW, I was really obsessed about what color to choose. It came down to flame red or dozer. I made the attached image to compare the two.

Unfortunately, I was not able to see a Dozer Sahara in person before my order was placed. I was on vacation in Utah yesterday, however, and saw a 2-Dr Rubicon in Dozer at a dealer. I think I made the right choice. It is much brighter and perhaps more toward yellow than either school bus or Case or Caterpillar orange.

well, if you have the VIN than production has started. You should be able to go onto the insight system and plug in your vin and pull up your jeep and is should show what color it is going to be...

Paste the below link into your browser.. Find the part where it says "YOUR-VIN" and erase that text, and replace it with your complete vin number and then refresh your browser and it should pull up your jeep.

then you can track its progress thru delilvery to your dealership as well, without having to contact the dealer

Thanks. That shows the correct vehicle.
The consumers' www.jeep.com/vots does not.

Status = KZ (Plant release)

Finally, some progress. Now I know what everyone else who orders a JK goes through.

The jeep.com/vots site shows the vehicle is in "trim" while the dealer tracking site says that is all behind and it has passed inspection and has been released from the plant (KZ). Rail car loading is tomorrow, and it is scheduled to be unloaded in Council Bluffs Nov 1. It lists Nov 8 as delivery to dealer.

Why does it require 6 days to travel 700 miles? And why will it sit around on the other side of the river for a week before I can get it!? Jeez.

FWIW: Mine shows Arctic as well. I ordered black. Prob just a glitch in the system. It is Chrysler...

Mine went to "shipment" Oct. 6 and I still don't have it. Talked to the dealer on Thursday and he said it was at the railroad yard in Phoenix. He said they wait until they get a full truck load to take them to my dealer in Tucson. Maybe today.

That really sucks - waiting for a full truck. I hope they aren't anticipating a week long wait for a full truck in my case. Unlike the 115 miles between Phoenix and Tucson, the distance between Council Bluffs rail yard and my dealer is 18 miles.

Also - the Jeep VOTS site says my vehicle is in the "Trim" phase whereas the Insight dealer tracking shows it is now in a specific bay at Toledo Rail.

I like Dozer. I think it is an awesome one of a kind color. I would always be hungry if I were driving it though, looks like mac n' cheese! Personally I would have gone with the black fenders and top, but that's just me. Lift kit and black wheels will really make it pop.

Oh yeah... congrats on your new Jeep!

I still have both tops on it. I need to decide whether I should bother going with the soft top at all, it being November 5 in Nebraska with snow showers forecast for mid week but most of November projected to be mild.

Take the soft top off until spring. It's hard top season. If you have a nice day just take the doors and freedom panels off.

Decided to leave the soft top on for a week or so. Not easy to get the new top up and snapped into place. After riding around with the the top in "sunrider" position, it was nearly impossible to close the header clamps. I had to use by feet to push the top forward enough to get purchase.

Color may be the most personal characteristic of a care. Dozer is very similar to the color of the 1939 Piper Cub I restored when I was in college. It's more or less perfect to me.

Repaint

After reviewing the comments I received about the color of my new Jeep, I realized what a real Jeep Man would do. So, I rushed out to the local K-Mart and bought myself a case of Krylon and went to work.

I feel a lot better now.
