Desert Bombers are not as popular as Rock Crawlers I see, Welp here is what Im lookin at regardless:
Im starting with a stock 07 JKU X 4 door. I got a Dana 30 up front with a Dana 44 bringin up the rear. My plan is to completely rebuild both axles. I will be installing Gussets, Axle Sleeves, Stronger Yoke, maybe more housing reenforcement and most likely 4:88's. I might run a Posi in the rear, but Im iffy about that. Im either going Coast Drivelines or Tom Woods (Still on the fence about this). I got my eyes on the Teraflex Prerunner System (again on the fence). The "3.8" that could will be getting help from the Superchips Flaspaq, a CAI and if I can swing it I will be installing Supercharger.. I will most likely drop an AEV hood on there to help with heat disperssion. Im going to have Front/Rear bumpers fab'd, I only need a front winch and an LED. The rear will be a simple design, I want to carry two 5gal fuel cans and a 35" tire. Everything else will be secured inside the Jeep. I had the opportunity to meet a couple really cool people on here already, one in particular that guided me towards some really great upgrades and shared a few pointers. Im very excited to start this build, and hopefully I can begin posting updates on here soon. Wait a sec..ahh crap... Has anyone seen my wallet?!?....
