Show me your tool box. I need ideas.

Show me your tool box that you keep in your Jeep. I am looking for something that looks good, rather cheap, and doesn't take up too much space. Ideally, I would like to see a tool box that sits across the back, and is accessible with the back window in. Let me see what you guys use.

How does this toolbox work? It looks like the diamond plate is separate from the box.

The diamond plate is what I'm showing.
The tailgate is the access. Great because it is still secure with the top off since the tailgate can be locked.

I use one of my pelican cases. Normally a 1620 I think ? But there are so many sizes you can pick whichever works for you.

I carry a large storage container strapped down in the rear cargo area of my JKU with the recovery equipment and spare tools I carry that don't fit in this...

No Camera....In my JKU, I use a small size Milk crate ( I know, it don't look too good...)
but it's big enough to store my Hyd. Jack, Axe,two cans of Fix a Flat, 2 qrts of oil ( 3.8L) a funnel, a siphon hose, roll hand towels, roll of TP, bottle of spray soap, a small worthless 12V air Compressor, a 4 way lug wrench, and a 10 in adjustable chinese wrench I picked up on the road...
Most everything else I carry is in GI bags....Recovery gear is in an open top rubberized bucket/bag.
Bag for Change of clothes
Bag for food ( two MRE's + )
Bag for Survival stuff
Bag for 1st Aid
Bags are good, Quiet, stuff doesn't rattle....and you can stuff em into areas where boxes don't fit....

Update: this thing was a piece. Don't waste your money. It was 2" shorter in every dimension than stated and about as thick as a tin for sale sign.

This is what I use. It holds all my small tools and the dunnage area holds my recovery items.

Buddah, how about a link or a name at least? That looks cool and I wouldn't mind something like that in my Jeep.

Made it myself. The bags come from a army surplus store. Quadratec does sell one like it that's where I got the idea.

Just bought this and it's perfect. It's an under body box from Amazon.

Bump!

I am looking at options myself. Want to keep my options black so that they cannot be seen so easily and with little to no modification. Mostly for recovery gear and tools, however maybe a small box to strap down too for hiking gear and misc.
