Show Off Your Summer Transformation!!

Here we go!

The truck is back from RIPP. We stripped the moab decals, gave her a bath, then tore the roof off.

Its not summer if the Safari Straps aren't out!

Yeah it's just the rear window set , I don't why my pictures are bigger maybe it has to do with the size of my shoes

Get those doors off Ross!

A rare spotting of my Jeep with doors and a top on.

My top is hardly ever up, so this is as clothed as she gets pretty much.

And this is how it looks most of the time.

Spiderwebshade on top and the Safari Strap Warrior Extended set.

I do love that truck.

How did you get the soft top boot to work with the safari straps? You don't clip them to the rear door?

I tried to do both safari straps and boot and couldnt. That was long ago when I still tried to follow the instructions. Mark my words kramer, Im going to totally copy you on this.

That is a very clean look.

Thanks man.
My tail gate bar is used by the soft top boot. I just let the four tail gate bar hooks from the safari strap hang down. The top is very taught even without those four hooks latched on. You wouldn't even know they're not hooked.

The doors are always the first to go for me. Just rigged up a thing to pull the hardtop off a few days, AND MAN I just thought I loved this thing before I stripped it. Luckily I have my YJ to drive on rainy days, so I just leave the jk in the garage stripped and ready.

Doors came off for the first time, this past weekend. I put them back on last night, but the top is still down, for the next few days.

Here's another cools set up. (its a friends truck)

Safari straps rear half cage, and spider shade "bikini" in the front.

Its the straps look from behind where you want it, but the shade over driver and passenger.

There are only two reasons I can tolerate living in CA. The weather and the off road terrain. Earthquake faults make for some awesome geography. It usually about 70-75 and partly cloudy all during May and June. Then the hard top goes back on. I paid for the AC for a reason. It is a desert here even if it is covered in cement and asphalt.

After looking at these pics I realized I need to wear out the stock tires so I can get some beefier ones. Not bigger, just more rubber for traction. I'm not into rock climbing, I'm going for more of that traditional Bantam look. I do like the SAS Desert Raiders from the WWII North Africa Campaigns.
