Pass. Sirius CS is a dreadful experience. Just try cancelling after that 2 weeks...think it'll be easy? Nope.

Yeah! customer service is really bad.
I had the one year of free Sirius on my 2012 JK and it was more problems than fun. I had to call in every other month to have them reestablish service, trust me it was never fun making those calls.
I will take the service for free but I will never subscribe to sirius unless they are willing to give me my one year of uninterrupted programing.

Never had a problem activating or canceling service throughout the 10+ years as a customer with them and or XM. heard stories but never had a problem myself. I was one of XM's very first customers back in 01.

Nothing but positive experiences with them as well. Heard that at one time their CS was crap. Things must have changed. Once my six months is up on this new car, intend to get another life time subscription. Out here in BFE, it is nice to have tunes while rolling through the tundra.

I have had issues with them. Love the service, but now I make them bill me and I send a check. 2 years ago I added my Jeep to my account and made the mistake of giving them a credit card number. They double billed me so that last year I only owed $16 for the whole year. So they kept $200 plus dollars for a whole year and didn't tell me that I had over paid and half the people I spoke to had communication issues with the English language. It was a big mess.

I've never had any problems with them since about 2001. BUT, I can happen to anyone with any large company...my only combination are they play the same damn music all the time. Same songs by the same artists. Guess im lucky that Iike a wide range of music....

Ive never had anything but problems every time I've had to call customer service. I only renewed my service when the free year was up because I wanted to get the sports channels to listen to college football.. Verified with them at least ten times that I would be able to get them. First game of the year I go to listen to it and can't get the station . So I call into customer service and they tell me that my radio won't receive those stations. But they billled me anyways even after promising I would get the stations. I fought with them for over a year and they did nothing. They still have done nothing to fix it. And the best part... all they would do for the hour and a half that I would be on the phone with them was to repeat everything I told them,... not fix the problem. And on top of that none of them can speak or understand the english language.

Any company that REQUIRES you to give them your credit card number and REQUIRES you to be on an auto renew contract is a dirtbag company......

Horrible company that offers good music choices. Canceling will cost you an hour long phone call and many no's (maybe even a hang up) even if you just dont pay they still keep a billing cycle and turn you into collections, so just by not renewing, you still get billed for a month or so. AVOID these guys at all cost.

Your issue was that your dealer never properly activated for free year of service.
