Skid Row LCA skids & Teraflex arms - What am I doing wrong?

I tried to install Skid Row LCA skids yesterday to no avail... Does anyone have these installed in conjunction with Teraflex control arms? What am I doing wrong?

I followed the instructions to the letter... After drilling the hole and getting everything ready including the nut plate lined up (what a PITA!), turns out the skid has zero clearance to the base of the johnny joint and if I was to actually fully torque down the bolts, the joint base would definitely bind hard against the skid. Their website claims these skids will work with after market arms. Now that they are scratched up from being slid around my driveway, I don't even think I can return them. I will call Skid Row Monday morning to see what they'll do for me..

I'm basically wondering if anyone else has these installed with after market arms. The Teraflex johnny joints are pretty fat so they stick out beyond the mounts about a 1/4" on the bottom.

What to do...

WOW, sorry to hearit--

I think you purchased the Skidrow LCA skids and they are designed for the stock jeep LCA BRKS and clearance !!

Mine are Rancho LCA's and even though tight (little hammer rap) they fit perfect--

Contact Skidrow and ask about your Pt# LCA skids--if they were designed JUST FOR STOCK ??

Good luck
