Skinny Pedal Door Hangers are on sale!

many users here have them and love them. after looking at a few options they seem to be the best. i can't believe how many people hang their doors through their windows. that cannot be good for the window seal and rubber. (unless i am missing something)

anyway, link: Door Hangers

*i am not affiliated or related at all!* just happy they are on sale as i am tired of having my doors on!

do you use these? these look like they'd be great in my garage! i had to carry my doors around my side yard and into my basement...and thought not overly heavy, they are an awkward weight and 4 doors later I was sweating my butt off haha. would love to see some user pics of these bad boys in action!

Just out of curiosity, are these much better than the Ace engineering ones? I've heard about Skinny Pedal's customer service and lack of communication skills. These cost more than the Ace ones and Ace will most likely send me confirmation emails and some sort of acknowledgment regarding my order. Not to mention, the Ace ones will probably get here a LOT quicker. I'm not biased against Skinny Pedal, as I've heard their quality is outstanding. I'm asking an honest question. Are the Skinny Pedal's really worth the money over the Ace? Yes, I AM a cheapskate, btw :-D Are there any forum discounts with Ace or S-P, like free shipping?

I ordered these a couple of week ago. I called first and talk to them, they said they were in stock, so I ordered.

They shipped out the same day and I had them in two days.

Great product, great customer service.

ace ones are terrible!

there is pictures and maybe a video of them scraping and chewing off the edge and paint on your doors. (the thread is on this forum somewhere)
here: http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/ace...ge-163206.html

also the ace ones are no where near as heavy duty.

The Lange brackets and every similar design is cheap and easy and the best way to go...unless, you're like me and have Auto Vent Shades installed. Short of being weak and uncoordinated, I don't understand why it's so difficult to line up the doors in the hinges...I'm a first-time Wrangler owner and managed to get my doors on and off a bunch of times without any loss of paint. ACE's fix should do the trick, but I also agree that the bottom hinge ought be rotated 180*. As far as price goes, these seem to be the best option for me.

Bought a set and they came quick, I was happy with the product until I went to install the first one and found out it was from a bum batch. I've been chasing them for a replacement for over 8 months now. I've opened support cases and left messages but no response since I reported the issue.

Does a set constitute 1 hanger or 2 hangers? I can't figure out from their website what I need for 4 doors.

I think all the material I used here was less that that (was definitely no more). Have no issues w/ the window seal (they're pretty stiff) and I didn't like the idea of them hanging on just the hinges for a long period of time.

Someone is going to eventually come out with a version like skinny pedals with a crossbar or beam that has the ability for the door to close like its actually on the Jeep.

yes... i NEED these... I have the weathertech wind deflectors on my windows, therefore making any options to hang them threw the window impossible. i currently lay a roll of rubber on the floor and stack the doors on it, leaning against the wall.

I checked out the website for these about a month ago to find it no longer exists. It seems they're OOB, unfortunately. We missed our chance at these, however there are alternate options. I don't remember who makes them. A quick Google search should work.
