Slider steps

I currently have a mountain edition which came with the same side steps as a sahara. I like the look of them a lot, but I would like something that would protect the body like the rubicon rock sliders do.

Can anyone recommend a step that looks like the oem step, but is also a slider? I have been looking at quadratec a lot, but their descriptions rarely say if they'll protect the body too.

I don't have them anymore but on my tj and now on my friends jk we had the rrc rough country rockers (I think that's what they were called) they were perfect. They stick out so they are kind of like side steps but they protect so well. We could get hung up on trees and it couldn't damage the doors those are perfect and they are only 330 which is not much compared to the protection you will get

The slider steps by poison spider are the end all in sliders... I watched my buddy sit his entire rubicon on them yesterday and they didnt even budge

I've had the Olympic "rod sliders" for over a year and if you put some 3M non-skid tape on top, they make great steps --

Are there side steps that will allow u to keep the rubi rails in place?

Also. Of topic but, do rubis come with a set of grab handles for the rear seat? (4dr)

Any grab handles for a new Rubi, would have to be installed by a Dealer !!

As I said up top, Poison spider makes a self fab kit that allows you to have a welder attach a step to the already in place sliders on the Rubicon. It looks awesome and is extremely tough.
