Smittybilt XRC-8 recovery

I haven't posted in a while but I thought this was noteworthy. Two days a go my nephew got his F-250 stuck deep in the snow and mud with a full load of wood in the back. The Good Uncle showed up with his rig to snatch him out. I have to say, this winch worked great. I snatch blocked the pull and had to chain my back end to a tree but as you can see by the video, it performed great. Thumbs up, very affordable winch in a pinch.

right on... did you try to extract him without the snatch block first? wondering if you needed it cause he was sunk and so heavy?

i ran the xrc 8 for nearly 3 years... it served me well. pulled me... and plenty others out of some interesting situations...

I'm not sure if the video loaded, I am still trying. I did not even attempt a straight pull, I didn't think I could do it, I wanted to make it easy. Having trouble with the video.
