Smittybilt XRC MOD Front Bumper

Does anyone have pictures of one with the mid, or full, width end plates? There are very few pics online...

Any comments on quality and ease of install? I was planning on pulling the trigger on an AEV premium front bumper but just found the Smitty. It's almost half the price of the AEV and I really like the looks of it. I got rear ended recently and if I go with the Smitty front and the Expedition One Rear I could get a front and rear out of the insurance money.

Thanks,

Drew

I don't have pics of one, but I will be ordering the xrc mod stubby with the stinger soon. My favorite bumper by far and the price is reasonable considering other fronts....if I had the insurance $ to order the front and rear setup you said you were, I'd already be waiting at the door for the big brown truck to bring them to me.....post pics when you get it installed!

Good choice, I think. I'm eyeing that myself. I think they are having some production delays, and you might have to wait for a while to take delivery. I was a little concerned that you might have to do some work to make it fit... but again, not enough units out to make a confident decision.

I would def go with the Smitty MOD over the AEV. AEV is made of the tusks of the extinct white elephant. Oh wait, it is only priced like it is.

OK, how about XRC Mod vs Rugged Ridge XHD that is identical in the modular functionality?

I like the XHD a little better than the MOD. I like the fact you can retain the fog lights and I like Rugged Ridge's stinger better. I personally got the XHD.

Thanks for the feedback gentlemen. I saw a few of the Smittybilt MODs at the TDS Desert Safari this past weekend, and they looked pretty sweet. I'm also leaning towards the XHD. Though Smittybilt is here in SoCal, Compton to be exact. I might go hang out and smoke some dope with my homeboy Dr. Dre and Snoop Doggy Dogg and see if I can hussle me one

Received XRC Mod Bumper Today!

Hi,

I just got Confirmation through UPS tracking status that the XRC modular bumper with full width end plates and bull bar just arrived at my home. FINALLY after 4 months since i ordered them.
Here a picture of confirmation, Im in mexico and bought them through 4wheelparts, so if anyone bought them they should be arriving shortly.
Just excited since I can't continue on the build until i get it installed.

Will be posting pictures of the bumper, full width end plate and bull bar as soon as I get the opportunity to install them.

Will also post fog light size since no one seems to know.
