Smittybuilt or Ace Stinger bumper

I'm going to purchase a new bumper soon. Looking for opinions. Keep in mind price is always a factor but quality overweighs that. Advice please and thank you

I just installed the smittybilt mod bumper with mid length end caps and stinger. Looks sweet. No pics yet though.

Have you considered evo's bumper. They are real strong but a bit expensive.

If you say quality is a big concern then realize that Shittybuilt parts are made in China. I will always buy as many American made parts as possible to put on my Jeep. Me personally I would stay with plastic bumpers then to put any Shittybuilt parts on my rig.

The ACE will be stronger than the SB but a bit more expensive, we chose ACE for both of our Jeeps and no disappointments.

I would go with the Ace as well. I avoid the chinese stuff as much as possible.

Guys - I am in the market for front and back.

I want something that will bolt on without drilling. I want to avoid SB as well.

I know of Hyline and Barricade to bolt on.
Any other options ?

I have the Smittybilt side rails and have absolutely no complaints on quality or fitment. I also have an ACE pro rear bumper and tire carrier and absolutely love it. The powder coating could have been better but that thing is a tank. With that said, I'd go with the ACE bumper.

I have the "shittybuilt" src stinger front bumper... Paid 375.00 plus tax from 4 Wheel Parts. No complaints with fitment or quality, people can say what they want about Smittybilt but I love my bumper.

This. Nothing against other manufacturers but I try to support local suppliers/builders when I can. PSC gets my vote but JCR, ACE and others make fine stuff too.

I have seen 2 Smittybilt rear bumpers lose there rear tire arm in the desert in less than 2 months. Both broke the arm right off the spindle. USA for me.

Check out the mega front bumper sticky thread. Tons of awesome info there as well as pics to compare various makes. Good input from forum members as well about fit, finish, application, etc.

Now you have my attention! Michigander here...

I have to say, if I can help it I'll support US made for sure. The stuff is expensive but usually much better quality.
