HOw are you guys securing them so they don't walk away? I was thinking I would bolt something down, then bolt the box to the board..

Where do you want to put it?

Car Audio - Stealthbox® - Jeep

If nothing else, it shows what is possible. I built one myself (couple jeeps ago) I may still have it ..... MDF, Glued screwed and covered with automotive felt. I made it downward firing and honestly it was hard to tell it was in there (looks wise) sounded great. Cost me maybe $50 to make sans the driver.

Very nice Gabrel Jeep! Where did.you mount the amp at? And.does the amp feed the rest of.your speakers?
I mounted the amp under the passenger seat but I'm thinking of relocating it behind the glove box
Yes it powers all the speakers with more than enough juice to hear crystal clear sound even with all the doors off.
Note: I switched out all the factory speakers as well

Awesome! Exactly what im wanting to do. I have the speakers to.swap now. So im an idiot with this stuff lol, how hard is it to wire the amp into all this along with the new sub?
I would have a stereo store install the amp and the speakers for you. I didn't take the initiative to try to do it because it seemed a bit tricky considering there are fuse amps/relays that need to be wired from the battery - plus a wire running with power from the battery all the way to the back of the Jeep etc etc.

The link appears to be a downward firing sub enclosure w/driver (almost identical to the one I built for my '05 Rubicon 2door) You mounted that to your back gate?
Yeah. It sits perfect on there. I will be taking pics over the weekend to show how I did it.
For some reason it gives more bass then I ever imagined getting from a 10" sub.
I'm more than pleased - especially at the price point of $100

First off, a 10" sub can absolutely put out some Bass and secondly - the enclosure was built to accomodate (internal volume) the 10" driver so again complimenting the Bass output.
I think (maybe) some assumed the Sub was cut into the back gate cavity which is practically impossible for a variety of reasons.
As long as the 6" or so of intrusion into the internal storage area isn't an issue.....
I will reiterate to those who are handy, building these boxes is pretty easy but at $100 incl the driver - that one you got is tough to beat.

I've been thoroughly impressed with my Infinity Reference Basslink (http://shop.sonicelectronix.com/inf...n_+_Campaign&gclid=CKOznMPK1sICFRaBaQod1QMAmw). I've had this same exact unit for 13 years, and have never had a single issue. Moved it from my 12 year old 4runner to my Jeep when i traded it in.

I have it mounted under my rear passenger side seat. You'd never know it is there if looking in the Jeep with the top off. And the sound is exactly what I'm looking for. The amp is built in, so no need to purchase a separate power supply. The only downside is that it takes away the ability to easily fold down that side of your rear seat.

I'll post some pictures tomorrow so you can see how stealthy it is.
