Soft Top???

I'm looking at purchasing a soft top for my 2010 2 door jeep wrangler I was just wondering if anyone had any advice? There seems to be a few different types, personally I just want something easy to remove and relatively cheap. The frame-less ones seem just that, any thoughts?

My advice is to purchase an OEM top that someone is selling.

Definitely another vote for the OEM top. Yeah the Trektop is cool, however, you don't have the luxury of putting the top back up if a sudden rain storm hits you while out and about. The oem soft top is extremely easy to use with a little practice.

Check your local craigslist and see if anyone is selling their's. Many times, people will get the soft top with their hard top as a "dual top" option and they simply don't want the soft top so they sell it. That is where I got mine and I ended up spending $600 for a brand new top that would have costed me close to $1,300 anywhere else. I have heard of some being sold as low as $300 too, so search around.

Another thing to consider is that if you buy from the dealer, the soft top will be in a hundred pieces and the install will take up to five hours from what I have heard. If you get it from a "dual top" option, the top is almost completely assembled and the install should take you no more than an hour.

Just my .02 for the day. I hope this helps.
So it's been, and shall be weighed: though many are born, few are "made". Faithful Always, they shall remain, dogs to loose when war is waged.

I'd suggest getting the Quad or 4wd catalog at the bookstore. It's nice to see all the photos and prices right next to each other.

Then, go buy a Bestop soft top :-)
