Question Soft top add on

I just bought my first jeep!!! It is a 09 wrangler four door, with a hard top. My question is, Can i buy a soft top that i can put on and attach myself or will i have to take it to the dealership. If not does anyone have any suggestions of how to get and then attach a soft top to the 4 door model.

Yep you can buy a soft top and put it on your self. No problems at all. Just be sure to get all the hardware and door surrounds

I bought the factory Mopar softtop for my 2011 JKU Rubi and it fits nicely. I used Mopar bucks that was included in my purchase and the dealer gave me a good deal. The list price is $1,600.00. I got mine for $900.00.

I highly recommend the top since it was designed for the vehicle.

One thing to know is that the instructions are awful. It can be very confusing when attaching the top to the frame. If you buy one you can PM with your phone number or email and I can tell you how to do this... Trust me, having someone explain it to you will be much easier than following the directions.

Also, I built a hard top storage dolly for the hard top that works nicely. The instructions are free and the cost to build the cart was around $30.00. Be sure to carpet or put foam on the touch points to avoiding scratching your top. Click here for the instructions provided by Performance Jeep Chrysler.

Good Luck!
