I want to get something to store the window panels and was going to get a Clover Patch when I found this. The directions say that is has a Clover Patch like roll for the windows. However, the directions also state that paper is used to separate the window panels. Not sure that is going to work out to well.
Anyone have one of these?
And while we're on the subject, how about a Clover Patch over the Mopar one (below)? Any preference? I like the Mopar one because you can hang it behind the seats.
i got the mopar storagebag with my jeep purchase. i cant give any info on it yet as i have not put my soft top on yet. i have used the freedom top storage back though and it works out great. i was also thinking of getting the soft top boot from quadratec to protect the entire soft top as well. i hate all the ones i say that are just laying there. seems like they could get messed up by the wind.
I have the clover patch window roll. Used it for the first time yesterday. It is really easy to use. I didn't like having it on the back, though. It blocks a decent amount of view. It does fit in the trunk though. I am going to try and buckle it to the back headrests or something. Or maybe on the back roll bar? It is pretty nice not having to worry about where to put your windows and them getting scratched and whatnot, though.
We went by the fabric store & picked up some polar fleece. We use that to separate and cushion the windows as we roll them up - then stow them in a ballistic nylon bag. The store boughten versions are probably way nicer, but this is both cheap & effective.
