Soft top configuration

Is there any problem running the soft top up, windows out and SunRider open? I did today at low speeds and noticed that it's kind of floppy, nothing keeping tension. Just don't want to damage the top.

owners manual says in that situation over 40 mph, rear window should be out.

I've driven that way and you are right, it gets floppy. I rode with all the windows out with the sunrider back and both rear corner pieces cam loose and started flapping.

One thing I did to stop the rear flaps from coming out was to use a small bungee cord and wrap it around the flap and roll bar. Works like a charm. I used the bungees with the ball ends so the didn't tear into the flaps

Nothing should be flapping. There should be plenty of tension on the rear sail panels when the top is properly secured to the door surrounds. I run with my Sunrider open and all the windows out frequently with no flapping. Check to ensure your Sunrider is folded properly. It should look like a "W" on its side. Watch the YouTube videos to make sure you're doing it as demonstrated.
