Soft top flapping with video

Hey all, I've been having an issue on my 2012 unlimited with the soft top flapping at highway speed. Chrysler looked it all over and said there's no problems "nature of the beast" speech. I haven't had it back in since I've taken this video, but was wondering if anyone else has had similar issues, or any ideas on how to fix this? This video is at highway speed (70mph) with I'd say a 10 mph side wind. Thanks for any input. I just uploaded the video to YouTube, and when I tried to view it, it said "processing" so check back if you get the same message, cause I don't know how long it takes to process. Thank you!

that should not happen. The cable system is supposed to hold down the edges. Are the door rails on that side installed straight? They meet in the middle over the B pillar. The plastic rail going from the back of the jeep to the front should be straight.

Yea I've looked everything over, the knobs and door surrounds are all tight. On my tj if the top got a little loose, I could tighten it by velcroing the windows then pull it down to attach to body. Tried the same with this and it didn't help

I had something very, very similar in my 2010. It turned out the latch above the intersection of the front and rear doors was not hooked over the soft top frame as it should have been.

Look in that area--you should see the latch on the jeep and the button tab that it hooks on to on your soft top frame. I expect it's not latched together.

I noticed a similar problem on my '10 on a trip a year or so ago... looked over at my wife and noticed that I could see sunlight above her head whenever we hit a gust of wind. When we got home I threw back the front and found a loose screw in the frame assembly; tightened it up and it's been fine since.
