Soft Top Help

So,

I currently have a hardtop on my '07 jk, and I'm wanting to switch out for summer to a soft top so I can go topless with ease and at a moments notice. I've got $1,500 that could all go into this if necessary. I want a great top, not something that is going to give me quality issues, but obviously, coming in under the $1,500 mark would be great.

I'm just wanting to know what everyone would recommend as far as tops to go with. I've never ever used a soft top before, so anything you can tell me about how they work (I have a general idea), what to watch out for, what's good and bad, would be helpful.

Thanks for your input!

Does the entire top fold back on the Trektop, or just the front half, kinda like a sunroof type of thing? I definitely want the whole top to go down, but the pictures I'm seeing all have just the front folded back.

Thanks for the input!

the top folds back like a sun roof. but on the days you want to run no top, the entire thing comes off very easily... which looks better than a folded soft top that's x2 the price... IMO

I'm in the same place you are right now. I'm going to go with the best top supertop nx. The front half folds back like a sunroof or you can fold it all the way down. The trektop nx can be completely removed but then has to be stored somewhere. Seems less convenient than the supertop IMO. Just my 2 cents
