Soft Top help!

Hey all-I recently installed my soft top - which went off without a hitch - but today I went to put it back up and it all goes perfectly until I try to put in the rear window bar and zip up the rear window. Every time I do that, it puts too much tension on the tailgate bar clips and one of them pops off. It's a 2010 top. The clips are in well. What am I doing wrong?

Nothing .... They suck.

I bought a new set because the ones I had would not stay put.

The new ones grip fine.

Top was off a 07. The clips were the only part I had to replace. Rest of the top/hardware was perfect.

Reverse the clips. There is a right and a left. Also, don't clip in the bar until after the window is zipped.

Oops. I thought those puppies were the same on 07-12.

Clips are correct. I notice that when I pop in the tabs it almost always pulls the front of the clip off of the lip, then when I zip up the window, 1 of 2 things happens: either the right clip pops off, or the window bar tweaks upward so much that the weather stripping comes off the tailgate about an inch or more. See attached pic. The front of the clip isn't actually attached at all. It felt like I was setting a mousetrap just getting it to stay like that.
