Soft top issue

Anyone else have this issue? Does it on both sides - checked to see if I was putting it up wrong, but I don't see where I have done anything incorrect (New JK owner here)

It's doing it on both sides and if I am on the highway, occasionally it will pull back and let air / rain in...really annoying

You're doing it wrong. The leading edge of the window needs to bend back like the letter "U" and tuck into the "C" channel of the door surround. Take the window all the way off. Start the zipper and zip about 2 inches. Tuck the edge into the C channel. You should have a flat surface (the bottom of the letter "U") facing forward. Now tuck the bottom plastic edge into the channel on the body all the way back. Zip the window the rest of the way and smooth over the velcro.

Also - the top is the original (07), and the loop side of the Velcro is starting to strip out - anyone know of any fixes? I know of a sew shop near my work - debating asking them how much to sew some new Velcro in...

Boating/upholstery repair shops are also good places to check out.

Is it pulling away from the fabric (stitches breaking) or just unravelling (one thread at a time)? If the stitches are breaking you may have to have it resewn or you can do it yourself. If it is unravelling, like mine you can pick up a bottle of frey stop and just coat the upper and lower edge.

Super glue or clear nail polish will work, but you can get frey stop at any craft/fabric store or the craft section at Walmart.
