I finally ended up taking to another dealer (Heritage Jeep, Parksville) to fix the soft top installation. Let's hope they will install it right. Good Service is hard to find around here.

I don't use them though, this is what I use: Musician's Gear Cable Ties 5 Pack | GuitarCenter.......I just leave them attached to the soft top frame so I don't lose them. When the top is up they are out of the way above the side roll bars and when I pull the sunrider top back they are right there ready to secure the bows together.

These little suckers come in handy...especially with music gear.
Thanks for the tip on the Cable Ties. I bought them.

I have since learned - unlatch at header - slide the plastic slevees on the frame forward - fold top back! Enjoy!!
This is exactly what I did, released the pins and could not get them back on. had to take all the way down and do the whole process to get them back on (in the freaking winter of course). Those pins are a major PITA to get back on if you release then accidentally. Like others have said, the trick I learned for getting the pins back in is to release the said panels and pull the whole top forward and up, then attach the pins, then pull the back of the top and sail panels back down and attach.

Thank God I have learned most of the tricks. I do much better now
