Soft Top Opinion

I'm new to the Jeep world. I just got a 2013 Unlimited Sport. I want to get a soft top but don't know what to get. There are so many options.
I like the look of the Trektop, but am not sure if I would be better off w a factory standard soft top. Then there's the Nx model and a Super top...any suggestions/ past experiences?
I like how the Trek top can roll back but is it flemsy..more noisy..idk
Just need some advise..there aren't any stores around me where I can go touch n feel these things. Thx

Stick with Bestop, or look for a good deal on a used factory soft top.

I just bought the Bestop NX black twill (same as premium top on 2013). I haven't put it on yet, but it is gorgeous even in the box.

Do you want to be able to fold it down all the way? If so get something with factory styled hardware. It makes it much easier. If you think you will run more of a safari style top (just windows removed) trektop might work better since you like the look.

Doesn't the Trek top NX fold down like the factory top?

NX is a match made in heaven for the Jeep. Both are very diverse and easy to change the configuration

Many people that bought Wranglers with the dual top option end up selling one or the other. You can find good deals on factory soft tops on the various forums such as this one and on CL.

I went with Off Road Heroes fastback top. I like the look much better than the Bestop and like th flexibility of it. It just takes a long time to get one. I may hate it when I get it, but not many have hated the top just the customer service or lack of. If I don't like it I may just get a factory soft top. Either way, I'm dumping my hardtop.

No, the trektops are frameless. So you can't just fold it down on the hardware like a factory top. You have to fold it up on your own. I don't own one so many someone will correct me if I am wrong. I wasn't crazy about how the top looks above the doors, it looks like it sits lower, and I need the rear space for my dog if I have to put the top up.
