I'm sure you got this by now, but post again if you're still having trouble. I just did this on Wed. The instructions and descriptions in the manual DO suck!
There's a BeStop video on youtube that does a pretty good job showing the parts. 100 times better than the Jeep videos.
Just be aware there is a "left" and a "right" (at least it's that way on my 2010). If you get them backwards you will have issues with the tailgate bar sitting properly.
Thanks all !!!! That was what I needed. Man that top was tight and it was 70 degrees !!
We drove topless for awhile and that was addictive! I wish I could leave it off all the time!
It took my wife and I about 3 hours of trail and error "guessing" what the instructions meant ! Finally got it all on except the rear and side zipper windows. Then I went to the dealer and had 2 salesmen check the installation and help get the top snapped in the front and back. Then tonight got the rear windows and side windows in place.
NEXT time I'll know how to do it !

I'm trying to install my factory soft top today with NO instructions from Jeep. I'm so pissed off...those A$$ holes at jeep are laughing their A$$e$ off at me I'm sure. What a piece of SH!%.

It's not that hard, pretty straight forward really. Took me bout 10 minutes last night and I didn't even look for instructions. Most intuitive install in the 3 models I've had.
What seems to be the problem? Perhaps I can help u though it

You can get the manuals on line on the jeep site. I don't have a link but google jeep wrangler user guide. Of maybe someone else can post the link for you.
It is not intuitive to install the soft top if you never have done it
First are you installing all the internal frame or just unfolding the attached sop top for the first time?
From My weekend experience I can give the following advice
1. Look at the manual - not the user guide
2. Look up examples on YouTube
3. Attach door frames or whatever they are called
4. Attach the 2 plastic read window bar holders in back
5. No windows yet
6 lift up the back so there is little tension up front
7 hook in the 2 front latches and close them (at some point slide the plastic cylinder to lock the front folding bars - above the front door)
8. Pushing down on the top rear of the soft top frame, work in the rear 2 sides under the flange
9 the rest is mostly just zipping in the windows
And now that you got it figured out, I'm sure you will NVA4GET. :thumb:
